Directs Hits Vol. 1 & 2 Words

Hey everyone. I was wondering if anyone could post the 400 or so words from these books? I hear that they are really good for CR prep. I can't buy them now because I am an international student from South America. I just need the words, I will take care of the definitions.

Please! This would help me and many others to come!

Would you spend your time typing up 400 words and their definitions on an internet forum for people you don’t know?

Yes, I would. Why?

Why don’t yo just buy the book from Amazon?

Dude buy it like the rest of us. I will definitely not be giving up my money for you.

I don’t mind buying it… but I can’t. I have the SAT on December 5th (in 15 days). If you don’t want to provide me with the word list, then that is okay. I was just hoping that I would get lucky. Thank you for your input though :)

Direct Hits is only 400 or so words? I’m definitely buying this if I’m retaking then.

is there a quizlet or something on the words? i imagine someone would of made one by nowh

If the book were bad, I would type up the words for you; but it’s not. I hope you will buy it so that future editions are better funded.

I think posting the list would violate copyright laws, and silver turtle is right that it’s not cool to rip off a good product like Direct Hits. Since ordering it isn’t going to be an option for you, you’ll have to think about online sources. There are a number of free websites out there with more words than you can possibly learn in two weeks - one of them is freevocabulary.com - it’s not exactly efficient study, but it is free and immediately available to you. The other option is my favorite, word-nerd.com - again it’s online, and they have a last minute cram subscription which, if memory serves, would be cheaper than the direct hits books (and that’s not even taking into account the shipping to South America!). Hope you’re enjoying spring down there and best of luck to you!

Thank you all for your responses. I will check out word-nerd and freevocabulary.

At least I tried :)

And yes, I’m loving the warm weather down here :)
