some of the other students dont take math or at about the same level

what math are you taking

the other feautured student, George, is doing calculus.. but then again, there are some sophs doing calc and many, many jr.'s

Did someone say math? :D

blair - You must take into account the fact that not everyone has equal opportunity; many are given the chance to advance at their own pace, but many are not.

you're such a nerd, chaostheory. lol. you really are.

Calm down, Chaos. Just do some equations and breath. :)

A nerd, am I? Well, if you define "nerd" as I, so be it! For, blair, I am happy! :)

it all depends on perspective and resources avaliable.he's more a geek because he gets the job done a nerd does not

Indeed. Well said.

he's more a geek because he gets the job done a nerd does not

is there really a difference between nerd and geek> i always thought geeks just looked as nerds are portrayed, but nerds are the ones w/ amazing grades and "nerdy" interests (physics and math!)... lol.

i think there is have you seen that internet commericial on tv ithink its vonage

that should be fine... I had a broken arm when doing my applications so I just put in a letter and tpyed them all... (after asking of course) good luck!

rbupe---

did you call each school and what exactly did you say in your note?

Geeks have more of a stigma to them because they have the CLOTHING aspect (i.e. they aren't socially adept, or fashionably adept, etc.) Nerds can be really smart people with an interest in academics, but they can also wear good clothes, etc.

that's the stereotype. I don't classify people like that, though.
