<p>With everything in perspective, I am a strong, contender type applicant for the ivy's and MIT. Not to say an obvious admit, as almost no one is, but that I have a decent shot...High gpa, high SAT's, dedicated EC's, you know the shtick. Even so, these schools are slim pickings and you just don't know, as everyone has high gpa, sat scores, strong Ec's, etc.</p>
<p>anyhoo, my question is that considering everything (my accomplishments) I have a hearing loss.</p>
<p>Is this something that might make a difference? Might it help?</p>
