I know Northwestern recommends sat subject tests, but i got 690 on math ii and 680 on biology, which aren't too good. I don't know whether to send them or not. Would not sending them be a bigger disadvantage than sending these average ones?

any input would be really appreciated

How are your other test scores? If you have better AP scores from Calc and science courses, I think it would be okay to not send those scores. However, I believe the scores are decent, though not great, enough to send in.

the only AP score i have is a history one. im taking chem ap and calc ap currently. which isnt really helpful to me to now i guess. i also had a sat score of 2200 and act 34. my subscore was 700 for math, so thats why im hesitant to send another not so great math score. i also want to be a biology major which is also why im hesitant to send the biology score.

since i dont have ap scores though i should definitely send them?

This is kind of late, but if you haven’t sent them, then consider this. Imagine you were an adcom. You’d read the application, see the great ACT and SAT score and think “Nice,” but then if you sent the subject test scores, they’d see those and think,“Well, not so nice.” If you don’t send them, they have no reason to believe you couldn’t score well on them, but if you do send them, then they can be judged, possibly against you. See what I mean? Basically, you’re at no disadvantage not sending them. If you send them, you leave open the risk of them impacting you negatively. Hoped that helped.
