disadvantage of taking sat multiple times

im a junior and trust me im not the type of kid with a 4.5 gpa and applying to ivy leauge schools. i took the janruary sat and got a 1940. im taking it in march too and im hoping to get at least a 2050 and maybe even a 2100. im wondering if i should take it in may and june too, and maybe october in my senior year. can schools see how many times you take it? i know they only see the ones that you want them to see, but can they see how many times you take it. i also know that its an extra 45 dollars each time you take it.

They do not see how many times you take it, so long as you use score choice

what exactly is score choice? (sorry im just a tad clueless about the whole application process at this time haha)

bbbbuuummmppp

score choice - on the SAT website, once a score is online. You get to choose which scores to send to a college of your choice.

You need to find out what the policy about Score Choice is for each school you are planning to apply to. Some are requiring that you send all of you scores. Most schools will super score (take the highest score on each section) your scores when you apply. Think about taking it in May or June and then again in October.

Did you order a copy of the Janaury SAT? It is very helpful to see what you missed.

quick question about score choice:

if a school requires you to send all but you instead choose to hide them anyway, can the school find out?

it does not apply to me because it is too late for me :frowning:
but for future reference :D

^ they will not find out
