Disciplinary action

I attended the Harvard Summer School program in 2014 and was put on probation for smoking tobacco inside the dormitory,I have a perfect disciplinary record ( I am the President of the Student Council at my school). Near Perfect grades, exceptional extra-curricular record and probably will have glowing letters of recommendation. If i don’t get my Summer School Transcripts sent to colleges, this information will probably not be disclosed. However, I’m inclined to be completely honest about the incident in my college application. My high school disciplinary record is perfect.
My Questions are - Should I disclose this?
2) If I do, how much a difference can it make in judging an otherwise strong application?

A disciplinary action like that will have zero impact.

Agree.

Well, that’s a moot point; you’ll need to send.

@skieurope- The Summer School was an additional course that I did. Completely unrelated to regular academics. So why do I have to necessarily send?
@Erin’s Dad- So would you recommend disclosing the event?

@ft2152 Check each college’s requirements. e.g. Stanford:

@skieurope - Will the violation count for a lot?

I don’t think that it will count at all. IMO, colleges are more interested in disciplinary action as a result of academic dishonesty, bullying/hazing, felonies, etc. They really could not care less if you cut class to go to BK for a burger or smoked a cigarette in the dorm.
