Disciplinary History

I have been filling out applications for grad school recently and have come across this question:

“Have you ever been or are you currently under probation, suspension, or dismissal from any educational institution you have attended for conduct or disciplinary reasons?”

Long story short I attended a different college before my current one where I am receiving my undergrad degree from. At that college I was put on academic probation, then took a semester off to deal with personal issues before starting over at a different school, which I am now graduating from and have done really well GPA wise.

Is this something I need to disclose or should disclose as I am not going to be sending transcripts from that school from which I have the academic probation. I know I never disclosed it when I applied to my new school, but I don’t remember if it was even asked. I obviously don’t want to mess up my chances, is there even anyway they could find out if Im not sending transcripts from that school?

Yes.

I’m not sure what program you’re applying to that does not require all your transcripts, but yes, they can find out via the National Student Clearinghouse as one example.
