Disclosing a visual reading disability

Is it wise for an applicant to disclose a disability that the student worked hard to overcome? Student is over achieving, extraordinary person who has show amazing growth and dedication. When is it an advantage to "tell the story"vs let it go untold and not disclose any learning disabilities or impairments?

I think it depends. As long as you show that you’ve been an exceptional student, it can’t hurt.
