Discontinued AP's

I know that AP Latin Lit, AP French Lit, and AP Computer Science AB were all discontinued a couple years ago, but have there been any other AP's in existence that have been discontinued before? I've heard of an AP Music Listening and Literature that was discontinued in 1991 but there is not a single piece of info about that online. Are there any others?

I think the names have changed a bit over time.

From the descriptions here:
[AP Central - Exam Information](<a href=“Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board”>Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board)

There was AP Mathematics, which became Calculus AB and BC.

There was simply AP English at first. (now there it lit/lang)

French was originally 1 exam, consisting of both the lit/lang portions.

German has been strange: " The first AP German Exam, called Intermediate German, was administered in 1957. In 1959, Advanced German was added, and four years later, Intermediate German was eliminated altogether. The course and exam included both language and literature components until 1980, when AP German Language and AP German Literature were introduced. The AP German Literature Exam was dropped in 1983."

The Latin exams were called “Classics”.

For music: “The first music exam the AP Program offered was in 1972, when 268 students took AP Music Listening and Literature. In 1978, a new music exam was introduced: AP Music Theory, which shared a common component with the AP Music Listening and Literature exam. Both music exams were administered until 1991, when AP Music Listening and Literature was dropped from the program”

Don’t forget about AP Italian, which will be reintroduced next year.

I’m still bitter that French Lit was dropped.
