I took AP Human Geography last year as a freshmen and got a 3 on the exam. I was so certain that I would get a 4. I got the highest score on the qualifying exam and my practice FRQ scores in class were always pretty decent. I’ve always heard that the APHG exam was the easiest out of all the social study exams so if i could only manage to get a 3, how am i supposed to pass the world history ap exam? I didn’t study for APHG, I really should have but no one i knew studied either. Almost every one of my friends got 4s. Now I’m just extremely discouraged… I’m taking the World History AP exam in a little over a month and I’m extremely overwhelmed. My teacher cannot teach to save his life. I know of two people that passed the AP exam last year that took his class. I bought the PR book and I’ve just finished taking the first practice exam. Needless to say, I cussed throughout the whole practice test quite a bit. I know I’m not prepared at all right now.
Has anyone had this kind of experience on here? I just need a little bit of encouragement. I don’t know how I’m going to pass the APWH exam if I could barely pass the APHG exam.
Also… is human geography a required course in college if you’re not majoring in anything that has to do with history/social studies? UTA is probably the school I’m going to end up in and they don’t accept 3s on the human geography exam. If it is required, I may just retake the exam.
