<p>Did anyone else apply for the Discovery Card Tribute Award? And if you did, do you know when we are notified for semifinalist/rejection?</p>
<p>I think they only notify the ones who advance.</p>
<p>I also applied. Last year I think the first notification someone received was early March. If I'm not mistaken, they received a letter via mail.</p>
<p>They have announced who the semifinalists are. If you are one, they sent you an email yesterday afternoon. At least I am assuming they sent everyone the emails yesterday. I am pretty excited that I made semifinalist; hopefully I will become a national or state winner. Good luck to everyone else who applied!</p>
<p>Congrats csummerlin2008, I'm excited that I made semifinalist too. I'm having trouble reprinting the cover page - the critical statement portion of it is empty in the verification section. Is this happening to you? And can I assume that we cannot change any information as well?</p>

<p>rryu0212... When I first logged on, the critical statements weren't showing up as well. But then I logged out and logged back in, they showed up. Not sure why they weren't there the first time. Also, I wouldn't think that we could change anything on the application. </p>

<p>I'm being kind of OCD right now (which is what i wrote about, lol) but... does that mean we fax the Cover Page first and then to the bottom, or do we start wtih the reference letter and go up?</p>

<p>oh shoot... i already faxed it out, but i messed it up a few times cause my fax machine had multiple paper jams. and i just realized that my reference letter only talked about one portion of the leadership statemnet, not all of it.
is that bad? i at least want to still be named a semifinalist. :(</p>

<p>I am a little worried too about the whole faxing thing. Since we don't get any type of immediate confirmation, we won't know if they even got it for another week or so. And if they didn't receive it, it will be past the deadline. But, I am sure everything will be fine; I tend to worry way too much. </p>

<p>i believe so. april 25th is when the organization notifies the people who got neither state nor national winner, and may 2nd (i think) is when they announce the winners.</p>
