I was accepted into the discover hopkins class on revolutionary and civil wars. Has anyone else been accepted to this or other classes their this summer?

what is that?

I'm a summer RA for pre-college. I opted not to RA for Discover Hopkins, but the DH students go on some really cool trips.

I'm going to the international conflict resolution class.

By the way...
...there has been a bit of confusion from some about the Discover Hopkins programs. There are actually two different Discover Hopkins programs.

One Discover Hopkins program (which is being discussed on this thread) is through the Office of Summer Programs. These are new summer study programs designed for high school students to "earn college credit through a series of short-term, theme-based programs designed to expose you to the best of Hopkins." Full details are here: http://www.jhu.edu/summer/pre-college/discover.html.

The other is the Discover Hopkins visit program run by the Admissions Office throughout the summer. These are visit day programs on select Saturdays in June, July, and August. The programs are programs designed for prospective applicants that include a two-hour information session program with faculty and student perspectives in addition to a discussion about admissions and financial aid. The sessions are followed by campus tours. All the info on these programs can be found here: http://apply.jhu.edu/visit/discover.html.
