Discover UCI: does it matter if we RSVP?

I totally forgot to RSVP for the 15th DISCOVER UCI, and now the only day open to RSVP is for the 18th, and I'll be busy with something else that day...

Does it matter if we RSVP or not?
Is it possible to just show up and go through the day?

no it doesnt…
i RSVPed but I just ended up walking in without even checking in or w/e
I dont even knoe if they even had a check in LOL

lol, there is a check-in…or at least my receipt thing that i printed out said it’s 7:30am - 8:30am…too earlyyy

lol okay :]

I didn’t and when I went, the lady made it sound like I should have but in reality, we weren’t affected at all by not rsvp’ing

hi, i know this is an old topic, but is anyone planning to go to the event tomorrow who did not register?

well im planning to go, and i didn’t rsvp. But I don’t understand why there is a need for rsvp? I mean, my main reason for going are for the tours and some of the financial aid talk. But I would also like to hear some assurance from past goners if we can just go even if we didn’t rsvp?

I RSVP’ed last year and checked in and from then on, that was it. There isn’t really anything significant about signing in. My boyfriend RSVP’ed last year but came like thirty minutes late and didn’t even have to sign in or anything. It really is just a first come first serve with seating. There is no need to sign up, because guest lists aren’t enforced at all. I’m guessing they automatically assume.

Hrrrm I don’t remember creating this thread last year, but it just comes to show how insignificant it was, and the whole RSVP process. Don’t even worry about it guys!
