Man, these financial stuff is complicated:

So they sent the payments summary for me of SY 05-06:
Housing: $11,090
Non-resident UG: $8,652
University Fees: $3,376
Health insurance: $ 461

Class pass fee-transit: $37

Total: $23,616

I'm in-stater, so I dont have to pay for the Non-resident UG, it's off my balance now in bearfact. So, does that mean I will have to pay like around $15,000, not 23,600 ?

And here's the typical student budget from the financial Aid office:
http://students.berkeley.edu/fao/ugbudget05-06.html

Housing: $11,629
Foods+Books&Supplies+Personal: $3,517
Transportation: $652

Fees(Health Insurance included):$7,434 ($992 health insurance included)

Total: $23,232

With this, housing costs more, but that just means I have some money to save from paying less.
But along with that, many things are added compared to the first one:Foods, books&supplies, personal, transportation, fees are higher, health ins. is higher.
the first fours seem reasonable, but the fees and health ins. doesnt make sense.Y should they differ? It's not because of the SHIP, I dont have a major Health Insurance Plan.

So this is the actual budget of mine, I think (just basically the 15000+book,personal stuff)
Housing: $11,090
Fees& Insurance(from the first one): $3,874

Foods(snack),books&supplies,Personal,transportation: $ 4,169

Total $19,133

Wow, that's like 4,500 lower than the amount expected !!!!!!!!
Will they still disburse that much (23,600) money into my account?
Will I have a lot of money to be on a trip back to Vietnam next summer, or did I just make the biggest ignorant assumptions of the century ?
