Discrepancies in UCB admissions contract and TAU

The courses in my UCB admissions contract don't match the courses listed in my TAU and myberkeleyapplication. Does anyone else have this issue? I'm drafting an email now and plan to also call them. I actually switched to courses that articulate to UCB courses - so I don't know if it will be a big issue, but I'm nervous now.

Yes,
for me I said I was going to take a winter class, but dropped it in a second update that I sent. It wasn’t necessary at all, but it is still on my TAU for some reason. It then included the new class that I added in the second update. So it strangely took all the classes from every update lol. Im scared too but not too worried since it wasn’t a requirement, pre-req, or necessity for my 60 units.

That’s weird! Yous should be no problem.

The classes on mine aren’t even on my TAU, I double-checked just to make sure. They were in my original application then I removed them before Jan 1. Then one I faxed them about last month isn’t on there. Hopefully this gets sorted out without issue.

Same here… I don’t remember putting this class on my transfer application actually. I think I put it on my planned courses when I was filling out the TAG agreement for UCI. I don’t know though. It’s not a pre-req for my intended major.

Also very nervous right now. I will also contact them soon ASAP, but please let me know what happens!

@conheo‌ @credulitykills‌ have you guys gotten a reply yet? I sent a message through myberkeleyapp like the 25h and still haven’t gotten a reply. ;o

Reading my post makes me flinch…How do I edit it to correct my sentences!?
Anyway, @elmermmhmm‌, I left a voicemail as well as an email for my admissions officer and I haven’t gotten a reply yet.

I called undergrad admissions and it sounds like it isn’t a big deal and the admissions officer will just adjust the agreement. I’m still pretty paranoid. Did you SIR yet?

@conheo‌ I think you’ll be fine! It’s weird how that happened though haha. I saw I was accepted and had a heart attack, then saw a bunch of random courses on my contract and had another one. All my pre-reqs are completed and I have CS 61B in progress. I emailed my admissions offer and haven’t heard back either. If I don’t hear back towards the end of the week I’ll call. I haven’t SIR’d yet because I’m waiting to hear back from UCLA too. I can’t decide. I’m going to visit both within the next two weeks.

@elmermmhmm‌ I sent an update on myberkeleyapp late March/Early April and faxed a letter and didn’t get a response. I would try emailing and calling the admissions officer listed at the bottom of your contract.

@credulitykills‌ Same here! Also waiting to hear back from UCLA haha. I’m just getting a bit impatient right now because I want access to my berkeley email and I feel a bit behind with applying for housing.

I heard back from Berkeley today. The admission officer mailed me that it is okay to drop elective(s) as long as it doesnt affect major prereq, IGETC, and 60 units requirememt.
*But I have to attach an unofficial transcript file that including my winter grades and current spring courses. Reply sent :)

@conheo I feel behind too! I’m really nervous and want to apply for housing and feel comfortable knowing where I’m going to be this fall. I think Cal is a bit quicker with replies while UCLA said up to 15 days. Hopefully we hear this week. :)

@Challenging that’s good news! So hopefully I’m fine also!

Update: I went ahead and SIR’ed and then my admission officer revised my agreement to remove the class and I just re-accepted the conditions  So glad I can finally access my email and apply for housing now!

I heard back today also! She just updated my contract with the correct courses. Now I have to pick between UCLA and UCB.
