Discrete math course help!? CS major.

Hey guys,
I'm currently trying to register for my spring semester classes. I have to take discrete math. The only in class course they have is from 7pm-10pm. That's way too late for me, so my only option is to take this course online. Is this a good idea to take it online? How hard will it be? What is discrete math like, because I have no idea?

Please help me with this problem!!??

You should be able to take this particular course online without too much hassle. I would still keep in constant contact with your professor and utilize his/her office hours to nail down the concepts and questions that you would have if you were in a classroom setting.

If the professor is known for replying to emails, then yes. If not, I wouldn’t even take a chance. You pay for it, right? Then why not take the course?

Logic, proofs, naive set theory, discrete probability, basic counting, basic graph theory, perhaps introductory language and automata theory.

Depending on the course and material covered, this could range in difficulty from “not bad” to “what’s the course drop deadline again!?!”

If you’re typically pretty strong in math and programming, I’d say go for it. Taking it online probably isn’t a huge disadvantage.
