Discussion Classes

I was just looking at my schedule and all three of my discussion classes happen to be on the same day. Is this bad/good or does it even matter?

It’s personal preference. Most recitation/discussion sections are more relaxing and informal than typical classes…you should be fine.

Okay, so are my recitation sections every week or biweekly (every other week)? I ask this because I was told my Chem Lab class and lecture were biweekly

Every week, unless otherwise noted on the course section information on WebStac (but I can’t think of anything offhand that wasnt every week other than some graduate/phd sections).

Also, I believe you misunderstood the chemistry every other week section. The lab section is weekly (i.e. you have to attend it weekly), you just perform an actual lab/experiment in the lab section every other week. The other week is a lecture discussing labs etc.

marc- you’re right about the lecture. It’s every monday, while the lab itself if every other week.

It’s a new change, as of this year: [Washington University Engineering ? Registration Guide for Freshmen 2010 - Chemistry 151 Special Information](http://engineering.wustl.edu/freshmen-chem151.aspx)

Not fair, right? Only 6 labs in the semester, when we all had 9/10. I’m guessing it has to do with the 2014ers being overenrolled.

But op, your chem recitation will be every week. They are two separate classes.

Probably not fair…but I did the Applied Science degree so never had to take Chem ;-p
Still don’t quite sure why it was cut…labs seem to be an integral part of sciences, seems rather odd to me.

Edit: Except in CS classes where labs were an amazing waste of time (looking at you 332)
