<p>bleh… i feel like a lot of us are upset right now… more than expected</p>

<p>deferred :frowning: I hate life right now. This sucks more than anything
and all the FB status updates with Penn '14 hurt so much, I feel like all my friends got in, and then people I am not even friends with</p>

<p>a girl I know got into CAS. she had a 2000 SAT and ranked 20th in our class…almost no extracurriculars, got arrested for underage drinking. but her parents were upenn employees. INJUSTICE!!</p>

<p>I feel like based on some of the stats ive seen there were some very random selections/rejections…or some very good/bad essays</p>

<p>i dont think people realise how much weight essays/recs have tbh… my stats werent THAT great. my sat IIs were <700, i did the IB diploma which compensated i hope.
im guessing they saw something in my recs and/or essays
but i guess i am in a diff pool to you guys since im international</p>
