how do you do 2d…i just did the average value theorem but thats obviously wrong …i think i ended up with 380

I dont know how you got 0<x<2 but=“” my=“” set=“” up=“” was=“” (x-1)^(2k+2)=“” (k+2)!*(k+1)!=“” ((x-1)^(2k)=“” which=“” gives=“” you=“” (x-1)^2=“” (k+2),=“” and=“” the=“” lim=“” as=“” k-=“”> inf gives you zero which means it converges to all x</x<2>

^I think you’re right as well, I was just saying what I got…I messed up the ratio test.

"how do you do 2d…i just did the average value theorem but thats obviously wrong …i think i ended up with 380 "

average wait= total hours waited between t=1 to 2/total number of ppl between t=1 and 2

gives you zero which means it converges to all x

fiack
can’t believe i did ratio test wrong.
got infinity
;lajgljsalkajsglkjas
i’ll probably still get some points, though…for setting it up correctly…right?

And I’d be interested in an aim chat in about 45 mins. I’m gonna go get some food right now.

PM me if you start one.

ya i hope so i set everything up as well…SO far i think i did ok on 1 and 2, better on 3 really well on 4 and 5 and ok on 6…lol

was the angle by any chance arctan(15.3728/1.5488)?

I did the same thing, sixsense, couldn’t figure out why my number was so huge!

any idea how much ill lose for forgetting dx’s on integrals?

Im pretty sure its because we just plugged the function into the theorem. I integrated the function form 0 to 2 and divided by 1/2. Looking back, I should have had the common sense to realize it was wrong but I guess I didnt haha.

Can anyone go over the answers for 1…I hope I didnt mess that one up too much…careless errors are killing me

can anyone else confirm that 2d was around .53 hours?

I realized it was wrong, but didn’t think to divide by the number of people! At least I knew to use the average value theorem…

I’m just hoping to get good enough for a 5, it doesn’t need to be perfect.

yeah I missed part d as well, wound up with like 380 or something, maybe I should have read the problem rather than trying to be a know it all

what was part c…I have a feeling I got that wrong as well since I got something in the 700’s for that.

1.
a. -.1 m/s^2
b. 1.8 miles, total distance traveled
c t=2 is when she goes back
d. Caren lives closer (1.4 miles away) while Larry lives 1.6 miles away

o.O anyone?

Honestly Ill be happy with a 4, 15 credits from Ohio State

I’m pretty sure I got all of that too. I know I got the same for a and c
