Discussion of Oct SAT

Any special feeling?

The cr is a little hard.

Still in the middle of the test out west, it does feel special, though.

CR was a little hard

But didn’t get to finish the essay. Used all my time and wrote very well, but no conclusion. How badly will this hurt me?

same thing happened to me pink. i was only able to write one sentence of my conclusion…

I though CR was super easy besides like one section . I didn’t like the essay though haha messed that up and writing is my favorite part/ best part. Oh well. I suck at math but it didn’t seem too hard.

Cr - hard
Math - average
writing - easy

yeah, the CR was ehhhh
math - okay/easy
writing - easy

does anyone know what the experimental section was for the reading?
was it the dual passages about distinction or the other one?

What?? Did we all have different tests?
Bc I thought the math was like astronomically hard compared to the practice ones I took.
CR was pretty easy, and writing… I thought it was easy … but my answer sheet looked weird. So many Cs and Dcs… and very few no errors.

… hated the essay topic though! I ended up making up a book. >_>

I hated the essay. Only came up with one good example, the other two were horrendous. And I only wrote two sentences in my conclusion. Ran out of time because I spent forever thinking about what the hell I was going to write lol.

i thought cr was a bit easier than I thought…
math was easy-medium
writing- i got an experimental-- just know that one section was extremely hard and one was extremely easy… hope the exprimental was the harder one
essay was okay.

are we allowed to discuss questions from the test?

what the heck is an experimental???

I though the math was hard, and the CR and W were relatively straight forward. Or at least I wasn’t confused as I normally am haha

@Austrianpog: I dont think we are, cause of diff time zones and sunday testing I think. OH, btw, I came out of the test thinking the exact same thing, one writing section was SUPER EASY and one KILLED THE HELL OUT OF ME. I’m not sure if you found the one I found easy, but if you pm me I can tell you which one was the experimental… or simply ask a friend who got reading/math as experimental. I feel so sad cause I messed writing AGAIN. Last time, I got 680 with a TWELVE in essay! Imagine that! DAM and this was my last SAT.

CR = fairly easy. (my experimental was CR. one section was unreasonably hard. hope that’s the dummy section…)

MATH = very easy. but then, the curve’s probably gonna be harsh.

WRITING = easy.

Haha! Yeah I’m scared to see my score now that I hear everyone calling the CR section hard. But then again, I’m pretty sure I got the experimental math section… and my essay was horrible. Just horrible. I don’t think I’ve ever written a worse essay.

I guess you score would drop from 12 to 11?

BTW, the questions for north america are different from those of asia

CR seemed easier than the practice tests. M was a little easier, except for one section (hoping it was experiemntal). Usually hate the W prompts, but this one was fun, got three examples in and barely finished my conclusin in time, but got enough down. I know why so many colleges don’t care about the SAT essay. Who cares if you can write an essay in only 25 minutes?
