<p>Hi! I’ve also applied for the Johnson, but I’m an international student. I can’t wait for the end of January! I’ve heard that international students also get an e-mail, and I hope they’ll do this this year too, because I’ll be gone for a couple of weeks right when when they’ll be sending out the letters. I applied for Johnson, and though I’m not expecting to get it due to a lower-than-average GPA, I suppose that it doesn’t hurt to try. Nice to meet y’all, and good luck!</p>
<p>I didn’t realize how competitive it was when I applied! I just saw they gave out full scholarships to 10% of the incoming class and it was so easy to apply through Common App that I had to at least try for it. Even if it is a reach for you, I don’t understand why anyone interested in W&L wouldn’t apply :)</p>
<p>My son applied and I’m hoping he at least gets a shot and makes it to the competition. I know you students are excited, but us parents are too ! His stats are good, but so is everyone’s . Good luck to all</p>

<p>Today I went to check my application status on GHQ and saw a red “X” Awaiting Final High School Transcript status bar that wasn’t there the last time I checked 4 weeks ago. Does that mean that I was selected as a Johnson Finalist? Can’t for the life of me understand why the school would want my final transcript unless I was accepted into the school or am I putting too much into it?</p>
<p>Would appreciate it any of you can check your status on GHQ to see if you have the same status bar.</p>
<p>the x is standard and has been there and will continue there. They will continue to monitor grades just to make sure the student doesn’t just coast through senior year recklessly. </p>
<p>The acceptance or not is in no way tied to the current app status.</p>
