Is there anything you need to know before selecting your discussion time?
for example.. is it better right after class?? is it better to put all discussions from different classes on the same day?
any suggestions..???

it really doesn't matter.

most professors don't care which ones you attend, unless there's a quiz being given - in which case it would be prudent to attend the one you're registered for. but it's common for students to "shop" around different discussion sections for TAs, convenience, etc.

my chem sections had 35 registered kids, but on occasion i'd have close to 70, with people standing on the sides and sitting on the floor. it humored me to no end. :)

If its for a class where you think you might have to turn in homework or take quizzes in discussion you might like to have an hour free or something before it, to study or finish work, etc.

In case there are any ERC kids out there: I highly reccomend not having a class right before MMW section in MMW 2-6. You'll need the time before class to take care of stuff for your papers.
