All right so here goes...

I graduated high school in 2008 and went to UC Berkeley for a year and a have. I wasn't doing very well was placed on probation and then was eventually dismissed. I'm pretty sure I have less than 30 semester units earned at Cal. Then I went to a community college for about a year and am thinking I dont want to go to Cal but another UC closer to home. (I'm from SoCal). So I went to a CC from January 2010 till now.

Now I applied to transfer to the UC's, and havent heard from any except UCR. They rejected me saying I dont meet the UC Eligibility Requirements, but I'm pretty sure I do. Now what.....

transfer and graduate from your community college with a BA in basket weaving.

Problem officer?

@yheafreak He got rejected from UCR.

You said you left your uc in poor standing? This is why you don’t meet uc eligibility. If you left in good standing they would’ve accepted you. I say keep taking classes at ccc until you get at least 60 transferable units (this can include the semester units you passed in cal) then apply to a uc … If you’re in school now take lots of units and uc transferable courses get a good gpa, work hard, apply for fall 2012 if you can make the units complete. Good luck I don’t think there’s much more you can do… Unless you speak to someone at UCR about what your eligibility is based on. Call them!!

ouchhh, sorry dude.

good luck!

Tried to call, didnt get to talk to an admissions counselor… Gonna try and call back. So does that mean all my UC transfer apps aren’t going to be accepted. So all the other UC’s I applied to are gonna reject me? How weird. I don’t get it, no CC or Cal counselor told me that…

How many units do you have at your cc? How many total did you apply with?

I have like 61 cc units, but not all of that is really college courses i took after coming back from Cal. I took 21 CC units while is high school. So 40 plus currently 17 this semester at a CC. Then like 25 units (useable/passing) at Cal… less than 30 for sure… I cant actually see my Cal web transcript
