dismissed from the university

Hi, I have been dismissed from the university last semester due to low academic status.
I have had 2 probation and 1 withdrew semesters in the past.
After my first petition, I've got denied and administrators advised me to take some online classes and re-petition in order to apply for the fall semester, 2013.
I took online classes and had GPA of 3.0 and sent the petition form to the school.
Now, I am waiting for the university's decision. I am so stressed out that I can't even take a sleep. If there are some university administrators and other students who have had this similar experiences and got a chance to achieve your student status back, could you please share that and give me an advice.
Should I merely wait for the school's decision for right now, or would it be better for me to contact them and show them that I am determined.
Would the last GPA grades would affect the final decision?
By how many administrators are judging my petition?
By what percentage/possibility does the university accept the petition?

Please share your thoughts.. thank you.

the last two questions I think it’s best to ask your administration because it differs from each school with how many people looks over your petition. Well I had friends that was in your situation and once they left there university they went to a local community college and brought there GPA up and they took them back in. I think your final GPA plays a huge role on if they will let you back in and judging from your GPA of a 3.0 I think you have a great chance to get back in this coming fall. It shows that you really worked hard on your work and it shows to the administration that you van focus and do the work. Well I hope everything turns out great for you. Did they let you back in this fall? I hope they did. Well tell me how everything went. :)
