<p>What affect does dislocated worker and/or displaced homemaker status have on EFC calculations? The family has pension and disability annuity income of $90,000, father is disabled and lost job and Mom's back in school trying to obtain skills for work. </p>

<p>None in this case. The only thing it does is allow a family with an AGI less than $30k to be eligible for automatic 0 EFC, and it allows a family with an AGI less than $50k to have assets ignored. That’s it.</p>
