It seems like some of the most disputed questions are the "did the trojan war really happen" one on CR and the mammal "No error vs error" question on writing. These are the only questions I don't know if I got right or wrong.

Please list your answers down below so that we can see what the majority answered.

I said Trojan War probably did happen and NE on the mammal one.

Mammals NE: 1
Mammals E: 2
Trojan War did happen: 1
Trojan War didn’t happen: 1

I wish I had this mammals sentence in front of me because I simply can’t believe that I would be careless enough to miss a writing MC. I have no idea for the Trojan War though.

I wrote a whole freaking essay about the probably not somewhere on the reading thread. I think those who defend the probably did misread the passage and the whole argument of the author. Or thought the question asked “what do most people think is true?” instead of “based upon the passage (opinion of the author), what is true?”

No error in mammal question… I’m pretty sure about that one. The Trojan War one was slightly trickier; I ended up putting it did happen because there was no evidence to prove otherwise.

Dammit, it explicitly said in the passage that the war probably did happen because there’s no evidence that something else happened in the meantime. Why is this even an argument? I guess people just didn’t read the passage thoroughly.

Oh, and, NE on the mammals one.

We should also include the “indeed v.s. in comparison” question.

NE, ambivalent about trojan war, but leaning towards probably not, since the lack of real evidence was repeatedly emphasized throughout the passage. I did think it was probably at the time of the test, however.
