<p>I found out that my Cal Grant was disqualified because it said "Common Edit Disqual". I tried to call and email Cal Grant people but none got through, I spent almost 2 hours waiting for them to pick up the phone. Is there any way to appeal or re-apply for Cal Grant? I already missed my freshman year's Cal Grant because I didn't get a greencard. But now I have it and am going to second year. My brother is going to be a first year and his Cal Grant got through. What is going on?</p>
<p>I think a lot of people have been “disqualified” for Cal Grants this year, especially the Competitive Cal Grant, due to the state budget cuts.</p>
