So I understand Cal has something called 'Berkeley Time', so a class that starts at 2:00, actually starts at 2:10.

I just signed up for a class located in the GPB (genetic and plant biology) building. I'm thinking of signing up for a class in Tolman hall that ends at 2:00 - the same time that the class I have at GPB starts. I know I have that ten minute passing time, but will that be enough time to get there?

I checked a campus map and they look close by one another, but I honestly don't know what the real distance will end up being.

GPBB is right next to Tolman, not more than 2 minutes away.

Kroeber to Dwinelle is 5 minutes, tops.

Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I did GSPP (Northeast corner) right into Wheeler (center-south campus) last semester and I've never had a problem. The only thing I would worry about is if you have Tolman to Wurster or some cross-campus expedition like that. Even with the trek, you'll probably make it in time, but you might not get the best seat.

i got to register really late, so i couldn't choose the timings or the locations at all. so i ended up with a lot of back 2 back classes, sometimes 7 hours in a stretch!
