Distance Calc

Help I don’t know/think I will get into GT Calc next semester, since I don’t meet some of the competive ranges. My stats are:
SAT-(Math)780/(CR)660/(W)620
[SAT 2012-(Math)800/(CR)580/(W)650… Should I list this on my application, or will it seem very, very bad that I haven’t improved in 3 years, and have in fact done worse in 2 of the 3 categories??]
Average Math GPA-(unweighted)95.67=4.0/(weighted)100.34=4.167
Average Academic GPA-(unweighted)94.26=3.889/(weighted)99.44=4.038
I’m going to be a rising junior next year, so I think in addition to my not-so-stunning stats, GT will not take my application as seriously as a rising senior with similar stats. What are my chances of getting accepted into this program? Should I submit my application, as it is $75? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Did you make a 5 on the AP Calc BC exam? When my daughter got in (she was a rising sophomore,so I wouldn’t worry about being a junior), they said that everyone who was accepted the previous year had a 5 on the BC exam. Not everyone had perfect math GPAs, but they’d all made 5s on the AP exam. I think that’s the non-negotiable portion. I also wouldn’t worry about the writing portion of the SAT. They don’t care if you can write about calculus.

I’m not sure, since scores come out in July. I think I most likely scored a 5, though. Do you think I should add my 2012 SAT scores to my application as well, then? Thanks again!!

I just finished GT Calc in May, and you should definitely list your 2012 SAT scores since they super score (meaning your overall of 2110 will be more favorable than your most recent of 2060). From your stats, you seem pretty competitive, so don’t worry too much.
