distance from city

does anyone know exactly how far the rose hill campus is from downtown manhattan? How long does it take to get there by subway?

This last summer my dad and i went to visit colleges, and the second one was fordham. The subway ride was probably like... half an hour to fourty five minutes, but we didn't take the express one. Also there's still the Ram Van which will shuttle you from campus to campus. Hey, have you been accepted? I was accepted EA to the Lincoln Center campus, and I'll probably end up going there.

are you going to be commuting?
If so, and if you're planning on attending, i hope u don't get those stupid days when you only have once class. I had that last semester, and it sucked spending two hours traveling to go to a one hour class.

If you're concerning about that, wouldn't you try for the campus in Lincoln Center? It would put you right in the middle of Manhattan.

wiggy- thanks for the info. I haven't been accepted yet but congratulations!

I am not planning on commuting actually. I think rose hill campus has more of the things i want to major in and also its bigger (i think?) so thats why i was applying there and not lincoln center

yea, the rose hill campus has a lot more to offer than Lincoln Center, although I prefer mid-town. the train around rose hill runs often and its one of the fastest trains in the bronx

Here is some advice: NYC has many trains that run from borough to borough, distance would not matter really, because on the train honestly the stops will come by quick. the distances between them are not so much really. The best thing for you to do is to check mta.com or whatever it is, and view the new york city subway map. Its easy to navigate, Fordham rh should be near "fordham road" , D train i think and you can follow through on it to see all the places in the city it will lead you.
