haha can I make it from ms to bunche in under ten minutes?

I don't know the answer, but I figure I'd put mine out here too incase someone who does know sees your post; WGYOUNG to HAINES in 10 minutes? Thanks!

Yes, to both of you.

I'll say it again, 10 minutes is usually enough to get from any place on campus to another place on campus unless it's on the very opposite ends.

^Yeah. I can get from lot 7 (under the IM field) to Bunche in 10 minutes in HEELS. Big ones. And holding a laptop. 13 minutes to the law building.

It's totally doable.

how bout hedrick all the way to the law building.

Probably 20 minutes. Maybe a little more or less depending on how fast you are. Complete opposite sides of the perimeter.

why does north campus have to be sooo far???argg.
and hedrick is just...im not going to even write anymore on it rigth now, its just getting me depressed.

are the campus shuttles widely used? i've seen a few going to wilshire and the dorms, but are there any from north campus to south?

It would be pretty pointless to take a shuttle from North to South campus or vice versa. They're really not that far apart.

The shuttles are mainly used to transport people from apartments/dorms far away to campus and back. Not to maneuver around campus itself. They're largely used by people who live South of Wilshire.

How about DE NEVE P350 to YOUNG Hall in 15 minutes?

Yes. In general, you can expect to add another 5-10 minutes (to the above 10 min) if one end of the trip is on the Hill.

how bout rolfe to public policy? 15 minutes with time to spare?

actually... it'll take maybe 5 mins, 10 if you walk really slow...

Yes, to both funnyman and Jasonx88.

Rolfe to public policy is like a 3 minute walk. Seriously.

You kids are waaaaaaaay too stressed out about the time thing. It's all doable.

Promise.

where is deneve p350? is it actually in the deneve residential area?

As long as you are on campus or in on campus housing, just about every walk is doable in the amount of time they give you. Many people have had to walk just as far or just as far as you do, and probably in less time, and they've managed to graduate. Plus I've never actually seen a professor kick out someone because they came into class a minute late, this is college. You'll be fine.

Depending on the professor, some may get a little irritated if you walk in late or get up early to sprint off to another class. If it's a large class be smart and sneak into the back without making noise, and if you have to leave early sit in the aisle so you won't have to climb over all the students working on the dailybruin crossword.

If it's a small class, hopefully you'll get to know the instructor and things will be ok.

Completely irrelevant point:
I didn't believe my roommates when they said Bunche is the ugliest building on campus, so I checked it out last night. I think they're right. It looks like a cross between my high school and my community college, with the faded colors. And what's with the palm trees? I heard it's even extra ugly in the daytime when the mosaics are shining. I don't know, just thought I'd share that.
