Hello,
What does MIT mean by non-scholastic distinctions and scholastic distinctions???
I didn't find anything that fits for me!!
How should I fill these sections?
+ what have you filled for the activities section?
just curious about MIT applicants activities...

Matt McGann has said in the past that you can define “scholastic” and “non-scholastic” distinctions in any way that works for you. Maybe you want to divide your distinctions into those that you received in school and school-related activities and those you received in activities you did independently of school. Maybe you want to divide them into distinctions for academic topics and distinctions for nonacademic ones. Whatever works.

mollie’s right - whatever you think you should put in there. in some ways, the application is less about what we mean by things than what you choose to mean by things.
