The 2005 edition of "America's Best Graduate Schools" placed UCD's law school, medical school, engineering school and Graduate School of Management in the top tier of national universities.
The King Hall School of Law ranked 33rd in the nation and tied with Columbia University, UC Berkeley and the University of Hawaii. It was also noted as being the 13th most diverse law school.
UCD's School of Medicine ranked 17th for its primary care program and 48th in research capabilities. The School of Engineering tied for 37th along with Case Western Reserve University and LeHigh University, in Ohio and Pennsylvania, respectively.
The program in graduate-level business at the UCD GSM was rated 29th overall and 14th among public universities.
The GSM moved up six places in the rankings from 35 last year. The school is also the newest school at a public university among the top 50 listed in the report.</p>
