Distinguished Scientist Scholars Program at Bard College

Hello. Does anyone know how competitive it is to obtain this scholarship at Bard College? I've been looking at this college for a while, and it seems like a great school. However, financial and merit aid are a big concern to me. Is this scholarship based more on academic success or is it based on how interested you are in science? I can't find much information on this scholarship on Bard's website. I have a 3.54 gpa, good ECs, might have good LORS, and I've been re-studying for the ACT, and I might get a 29 or 30. Can anyone help please?

From the application, it looks like they consider both academics and participation in math/science activities:

The CB shows Bard’s 75% SAT (ACT not reported) at 1420:

which is equivalent to about a 32 ACT:

This is a full tuition scholarship, that’s a large merit scholarship. IMO, you should figure on being in the top 5% of the applicant pool in order to be in the running. I’m not that familiar with Bard, so I don’t know the gpa range of accepted students, Results threads from past years might be your best source of information. Of course math/science ECs come into play and are more difficult to quantify.

Thanks for the help.
