Distractions while taking the Act test

I just took the ACT test in June. The english and math section went smooth, but while I was taking the reading and science section of the test, this guy sitting behind me kept shaking his foot on my desk!!! Gah! He kept shaking the entire time! (for both sections) My desk was shaking basically, and I could not concentrate at all! I didn’t want to make a big fuss out of it and since the tests are all timed, I didn’t want to do anything to cost any time from taking the test. Ugggggg… I didn’t tell anyone except for my family and some of my friends. Is there any way for me to retake the ACT test again without paying for it? I feel that it was unfair, but then again…I should have spoken. What should I do? I have not received my scores yet.

I am afraid this one is on you. Despite the timing issue, you should have raised your hand to bring a proctor over and had it addressed immediately.

You should have quickly told the guy behind you to stop if he just kept shaking your desk! I would’ve been pretty mad haha

Absolutely nothing to do now. Could have asked the proctor to change seats.

During one standardized test, I asked to have an empty desk in front of me to put up my leg because I sprained my ankle the night before.

It is not fair that you had a problem, and refused to speak up at the time, and now think that you should get special consideration way after the fact.
