ditching classes

Damn it pinkerfloyd. You better be an English major.

success with grammar doesn’t imply success with life. even if you could find a correlation, correlation doesn’t imply causation.

^ preach on, preacha’.

haha, c’mon guys, I’m from Palmdale. I know we have our problems, but we have an awesome song about our city! And I can get meth 24/7.

close but no cigar, i live in corona  . And I don’t own a roofing company, I figure they’re doing pretty poorly in this housing market, I own a Business IT company. My parents lost their job’s in this recession, paying the bills with $12 an hour sounds a little improbable? I don’t care too much to discuss how much I make, but I don’t have a '95 gm, I drive a bmw '09 335i(just traded in my '08 :D, maybe i should have moved up to the 5 or 7 series? oh well ). My house isn’t salvaged? It’s a model home and I watched it as they built it.

damn i hit a chord, that’s good. You know someone has no where to run if their argument references Dante’s inferno…

it’s ok man, I get where your coming from though. I’m happy to be in whatever failed position you decide to put me in, at least i’m not the stuck up spoiled kid that you are. I don’t care how much your parents make or where they live. Don’t try to make that an argument of your success. So far all I see is a person who doesn’t realize the hole he is digging himself into. Just hope your dad has a fatty trust fund for you to live off of, because you’re (yes pinkerfloyd i corrected it…) not going anywhere in life. Hell(pun intended :P), even if i moved from the “7th layer of Dante’s inferno all the way up to the 5th layer”, at least i’m going somewhere.

Hey REVEL, I’m from Corona too!

NO WAY! wat HS did you go to? I live in sycamore creek off of temescal canyon road haha, all the way down the 15

Oh jeeze that’s pretty far! I went to Santiago, what about you?

ME TOOO!!! Class of 08 :)

there’s no way you don’t have massive support from your parents if you graduated high school in 08 and are able to afford a new car every year

I started my company junior year of highschool. I’m doin pretty good for myself. And i didn’t get a new car every year…i drove an '85 325 for the longest time haha. My 08 was a gift to myself, plus it was easier on the eyes when i met customers. if i had known my parents were going to lose their jobs, i wouldn’t have bought the darn thing. I traded the 08 because i got a good deal on the 09 and the 08 was starting to give me issues (the ASC would turn on randomly when i’m driving which was really dangerous when i was on the freeway and the bloody thing would stop accelerating!)

I don’t have a car. Does that mean I’m stupid?

lol no, you’re smart. car’s are a hassle sometimes, especially when you do all the maintenance yourself. I don’t have parking next year so we’ll see how that goes haha.

Pull on your boots, the ****s getting thick in this thread.

so you have some support from your parents then, or else it wouldn’t matter.

i can’t say i raised myself now can i? haha. Somewhat, the largest issue was of health insurance, the mortgage, and my sisters schooling. After that was all sorted I had to figure out how to pay for my schooling. So yes, do i regret buying the car? eehhhhhhh i can’t say i do, i love the thing. Is it a hassle along with the other bills? yes, but not too bad.

@revel: yawn Corona is a dump. So I’m not impressed :frowning: Woooo an IT business. So you go house to house installing routers and setting up wireless connections? Or do you install ram into 4 year old dell inspirons?

Your parents lost their jobs because they are uneducated. I mean, let’s be honest. It’s funny you talk about my dad wiping your a$s, but your parents are the ones unemployed lol. A '09 335i? Hold on, let me step back for a second. W O W. Maybe you should have moved up to a 5 or 7 series? Is that suppose to hint at your mass success? In all seriousness, what do you think my parents drive? A 7series BMW obviously.

Plus, why should you have moved up if you are already struggling with the payments now? What are they? $550/month? I personally drive a Lexus, but my business is actually successful enough where I was able to buy it in cash, so I wouldn’t know. OH WAIT OH WAIT…(maybe I should move up to the LS!!! oh well…).

Now, how does me referencing Dante’s Infero mean you hit a chord? Just out of curiosity. I would love to hear the reasoning. I personally thought it was a pretty funny reference, but then again I laugh at my own jokes quite often.

See here’s what I like. You first try to flex your pseudo-success muscles and assume you are somehow superior, and talk about how my dad (the doctor) and myself can come work for you since you need someone to clean up the scraps, THEN you complain about us being rich/spoiled as$holes. So please make up your mind. Are we poor, welfare mongering, trash collectors, or are we snobby rich folk?

And if I am going to UCLA, I am obviously going somewhere  Try again, sir!

hey, rich guy. why dont you or your dad buy something from [Stuff for Rich Bastards](http://www.stuffforrichbastards.com/)

Can we assume that, materially speaking, you are both doing wonderfully by your various means… and just move on already…

REVEL I also graduated Santiago 08! So…who are you if you don’t mind me asking? haha
