<p>hm Iāve often heard being Native American is a huge plus for all schools esp. if you have your tribe number or w.e. I wonder if thats true. I never quite thought race mattered that much but at my school some kids got rejected from Virginia Tech with all around a 3.5 and 1200ish sats and a spanish kid got in with a 3.4 and a 1120. The spanish kid did nothing extraordinary.</p>
<p>Iām Hispanic, and Iām a Scholar Finalist in the National Hispanic Recognition Programā¦Iām really hoping itāll boost my application a bit, since I saw very few minorities when I went to BC, though certainly more than Georgetownā¦</p>
