Hi, I have heard/read on other college review websites that diversity is an issue at Lafayette. Is this true?

I don’t go to the school (my D is applying), but I have seen these statistics on Lafayette’s website which may give you some information. Hopefully a current student can chime in with more information.

I’m a sophomore at Lafayette. I think Lafayette does need to be more diverse but I don’t see any problem right now. I am an international student and I do spend more time with other international students than domestic students (can’t help it, circumstances lead to this). That’s probably why I feel diversity is not that much of a problem. However, I don’t see much diverse population when you don’t include international students (~6% of the student body is international).

EDIT: I forgot to mention that the current freshman international class is very, very diverse.

Thanks sixstringsrocker…appreciate your feedback
