I was just wondering if it is easier for a minority to get into Notre Dame due to the fact that they are in need of diversity. Do they offer extra financial assistance to minorities in an effort to get them to come to the school? (some schools do offer extended financial aid to minorities)

I know someone who got into to ND two years ago. She was a very good student but definitely had some blemishes, like very poor AP scores, mediocre SAT/ACT scores, and she got in and with a big chunk of fin aid. So I would say it definitely helps. As a whole you still have to be a good student, have nice recommendations, ec’s etc. But I do think it helps for sure…

Yeah I know. By the time I actually apply to college my scores should be high enough and I currently have a 4.7 average. I was just wondering becaude I heard that some schoold are more leniant to minority students
