This is the only essay I have left to write but ive hit a wall. I was wondering if some people could help me out and maybe mention what type of thing they are writing about or give some examples of things you could write about.

I wrote about my autistic nephew and how happy he is and how hard he works and all that, and I wrote that I would contribute to the diversity at michigan because of the strong work ethic I’ve developed while overcoming a learning disability.

I wrote about intellectual diversity. I work with DLP freshman assist kids. Its always good to remember that diversity is beyond ethnicity. ANYTHING really goes. Think hard and deep.

Good luck.

Adam

I wrote about this group of kids i spent a week with over the summer and how we were all so different yet we formed a strong team and got **** done!

It was hard to come up with something for the diversity essay, but eventually something came to thought…

Does University of Michigan care about how many sentences your essay paragraphs have ( I doubt it is something they will look for)?

Also, is it just me or is there no need to place your name ( or anything) on your essay under Microsoft Works Word.

Another way to think about it: my son wrote about his love for diverse music, which came about because one of his friends (at a CA high school) introduced him to Latino music while they were weight lifting in the kid’s garage and he liked it. He wrote about his eclectic music tastes (from Latin jazz to Sinatraesque crooners) and how he would like to connect with others on campus who share the same interests. To be honest, the music connection hasn’t happened yet, but you can look at the diversity essay from a lot of creative ways.

^
Yeah…

I actually never thought of it the way you placed the emphasis on preference of music, just could only think of how difficult it may be to answer the question when applying it to achievements and personal experiences.
