<p>I am going - Hopefully the first week of April. I am so excited :o) Do you know if it is just for one day. Can we stay longer if we stay with our parents in a hotel and have them still pay for our airfare??</p>

<p>I got the message as well - But I think I am gonna visit cornell the week before during my spring break. IDK though. What is everyone else planning? And was this event only for a select group of students or everyone?</p>

<p>Well I received the same email but on the bottom it said that I was invited because I was ACCEPTED TO CORNELL CLASS OF 2014. I could not believe it.</p>

<p>i got one too!!! so i think its safe to say that we’ve been accepted!! the diversity hosting event is for minority prospective freshman…that’s why it says a “select” group of students. its not for everyone lol i’m so excited!!!</p>

<p>I believe that all minorities that were accepted are invited to Diversity Weekend. Don’t quote me on that, but that’s the impression i’m getting.</p>

<p>Only a selected few minorities are admitted to Diversity Hosting.</p>

<p>It is a wonderful program that pays for transportation and food and sets you up in a room with a current student.</p>

<p>I would highly suggest all who were invited to attend. There is a ton of information that I got there that helped me make the decision to come. Not to mention a lot of the other Class of 2014 you meet you could end up seeing here at Cornell. (I still am friends with the students I met during DHW)</p>

<p>I don’t think you should necessarily take that as meaning you’ve been accepted. The same thing happened to ppl last yr b.c theyre in the minority listserve…</p>

<p>Is it possible to be accepted to Cornell as a minority and not be invited to the Diversity Hosting? Do all Minorities discover they’re accepted before April 1st?</p>

But then again i don’t think im a minority anymore :(</p>

<p>Maybe a dumb question, but is it still snowing in Ithaca? I kind of wanna bring a longboard so I can see the campus better and faster (and stronger).</p>
