<p>How do they pay for your travel expenses? Is it reimbursed or do they send a free one? For yourself or also a parent/guardian?</p>
<p>I was surprised that I got it because 1) I MAILED it one day AFTER deadline, 2) the mail came back to me because I was missing 15cents (I was thinking, are you kidding me?!), 3) I'm an Asian (I didn't know Asians are UPMs?!) 4) mine probably arrived REALLY late 5) my SAT scores were really bad... </p>
<p>But I think my essay, ECs and GPA made up for it. =D</p>
<p>To all those who do not get accepted to DOH - if you are interested in Amherst, you should still apply. I know of 2 Amherst students who were not accepted to DOH but who did apply regular admission and were accepted.</p>
<p>Has anyone received confirmation for the october date yet and would rather go on the september one? =/ I was accepted to the sept one but i may have prior arrangements so i was wondering if anyone in october would be willing to switch reservations with me? let me know!</p>

<p>i'm going to the october one. and to whoever asked about the percentages, the letter they sent out with the schedule of events said that over 85 percent of those who go to diversity open house chooses to apply, and 75 percent of those who apply ultimately get accepted.</p>
