Hi so I currently play for Northern Virginia community college (Nova)soccer team and I'm getting ready for my second season to play and later I wanted to transfer to a division 1 school for soccer. I'm honestly not picky of what school I want to go to and I know some schools can be hard to play for, so any school is fine with me. I wanted to ask the viewing public if any of you know any schools in Virginia or around the east coast that would be considered a good school for to play for and I would have a better chance of making for there soccer team to play for? Because I know the competition is hard. Thanks again

did you play on a travel team growing up? and were you highly regarded in high school? I have many friends from the DC area that were all-met players in the washington post that were lightly recruited and ended up on dIII teams.

That being said contact GMU/American/GWU/Towson/Radford/Howard etc and see if they’ll scout a NOVA game…you’ll likely have to be the best player on the NOVA team to stand a chance of walking on unless you were heavily recruited in HS and went to NOVA for academic reasons. Do know a few people that walked on over the years at various schools so it is possible… May also want to try out for the Northern Virginia Royals…local PDL team…won’t affect your NCAA eligibility
