DJ's ADVICE

1) Do not slack senior year

2) Write your thoughts down about what you want to do in life... not just academically

3) If you have to, look in the mirror everyday, and tell yourself what you need to hear

4) When writing your college essays, EXPRESS YOUR STORY while ANSWERING THE PROMPT

5) Do something out of your comfort zone monthly, weekly, or even daily.

6) Stay in contact with friends you meet on summer trips or jobs.

7) Try to help others and not just so you can put it down as volunteering experience on your resume

8) LISTEN to current and past college students, ANALYZE their words, and IMPLEMENT the pertinent (did I say that correctly?)

9) Make a sacrafice

10) Take time to learn more about yourself... do a monthly evaluation which can then in turn become a 2-yr major evaluation to see if you are where you want to be in life

11) Have faith in something... for me, it's God/Jesus

12) Not only have hope, exhuberate confidence, and become so confident you make others confident (this is the positive type of overconfidence in my mind except I would prefer to call it "supreme confidence" instead of overconfidence)

13) Wake up every morning and smile

14) LAUGH LAUGH LAUGH

15) Slow down every now again

16) Hakuna matata... remember that phrase

17: Don't forget your towel.
