I am not Harvard material but since this is an active board I'll ask away. I attended National Outdoor Leadership School this summer in Alaska. I took a course called "Alaska Mountaineering" in which I got chased by an avalanche and some other cool stuff. Besides some potential essay material, do admissions comittees recognize NOLS as a school and will it boost my application any?

Omg!! I am doing NOLS Alaska backpacking next month ahhhh I’m sorry I don’t know the answer to your question I was just searching NOLS in this forum. It’s so cool you did the mountaineering course! I just realized your post was from 2005 wow haha you probably won’t see this but I’d love to hear about your NOLS experience!! I’m really excited but a bit nervous
@nordietrackie If you click on someone’s username, you can see when they were last online; in this case, 2007. They probably won’t be back to respond. If you have a question, you’ll get more answers by making a new thread of your own
Oh thank you very much!! I will do that
