<p>Just curious: are the admission stats the same regardless of declared major? Ie, if one chooses Sociology is the admission chance the same for the student that chooses Biology? </p>
<p>Not sure if any majors are impacted, so resulting in higher major admission requirements for that major.</p>
<p>From what i understand this is true. Also from everything i have been told its easy to switch majors. so if you picked Chicano studies and wanted to switch after a year it wouldn’t be THAT hard. I think there might be some pre reqs in order to switch to certain majors.</p>
<p>Yes, each UC Campus has their own set of impacted majors. This means more people are applying to these majors than they have room for… which means you will need better grades and credentials to get in.</p>
