Do admissions officers work on Weekends?

<p>Since they have sooo many thousands of applications to read, do most admissions officers have to work on weekends to?</p>

<p>I'm estimating 70 hours per week from the day from Jan. 2 through May 1. Some of that has got to be on the weekends... probably 8-10 hours per weekend.</p>

<p>Have you read "The Gatekeepers"? The adcom has a very underpaid job. those that don't see it as public service don't last long.</p>
