do all classes on the transcript count towards calculating GPA?

<p>OK one more? </p>

<p>We were reviewing my son's transcript and he has a few honors classes and foreign lanquage classes that he took while in 7th and 8th. Are these classes added while calculating his GPA?</p>

<p>We were told that if the class appears on the transcript? it counts.</p>

<p>If those classes are on his transcript and are factored into the HS GPA, then they will count. Be careful though, UF did not originally pick these up in my D’s GPA. When we tried to compare what we calculated and what they calculated there was a difference. We brought it to their attention and they recalculated it.</p>

<p>Yes, she did. She just finished her first year. The corrected calculation put her over 4.0 versus 3.94 and over 4.0 UF GPA gives you very good chances of getting in.</p>
