<p>No. FAFSA asks only for the custodial parent information. Most schools use only FAFSA.</p>

<p>ABout 300 schools also require CSS. Most (but not all) schools that require CSS in addition to FAFSA require both parents.</p>

<p>California schools require both parents' information. I know Michigan schools do not consider both if they are divorced.</p>

<p>UMich requires the Profile, but I'm not sure if they also require the non-custodial parent form.</p>
