Do all electrical engineers need to know compE courses?

I want to be an EE in the circuit field designing circuit-boards and stuff. Sometime back I wanted to double major in CompE field but it is hard for me. I am getting an F in my intro-class to computer Engineering, it is a lot easier than the compE classes that follow it. But almost all compE courses are a prerequisite for all people doing EE to get their Barchellors.

Now, am stuck. I just dropped the easiest comp-E course because it was impossiblr for me. Our school requires me to take that course and 2 more harder ones to get a degree. I have pretty much concluded that I won't be getting a bachelllors, because I am not going to do stuff I can't handle. I will only do my Circuit analysis courses. So, can you be a succssfull circuit designer with no knowledge about computer engineering?

if u know of any other fields in EE that don't require any compE, tell me.

A basic understanding of Computer Engineering is a requirement at every school’s EE program. You need to figure out a way to deal with it if you want to graduate.

Now, assuming you can at least pass these classes, you could work in Power Electronics and avoid most things Computer Engineering related.
